  1. Gael Garcia Bernal doesn’t get enough play around here. He’s sssssssssssssssssmokin’!

  2. I wondered how long Intervention could possibly last, since it at this point, it seems like there’s no way the interventee (?) wouldn’t figure out what was going on. The “documentary about addiction” excuse had to start seeming pretty shady several season ago. (And remember when they had them spell their names to the camera? I wonder who was the first person to go, “Lady Rainicorn. L-A-D-heyyy, wait a minute!”)

  3. This may be picking at a little thing in this post, but when you said: “(Good, yeah?)” I immediately thought of Gordon Ramsey. Since the ABC&B debacle, I noticed Kitchen Nightmares seasons 1 and 2 are available on Netflix and worked through the first season last week. The one thing I took away from it, besides how delightfully entertaining it is to watch Gordon do his thing, is that Gordon says “yeah” a lot. Like, way too much for his own good.

tl;dr: Gordon Ramsey says “yeah” a lot.

    • He says “wow” a lot too. I started watching Kitchen Nightmares and Hell’s Kitchen after the ABC thing too and I’ve noticed that a lot of his weird little tics and mannerisms get more pronounced over time. I don’t know if that’s just a byproduct of getting older (in that we all become caricatures of ourselves) or if he’s refined a “Gordon Ramsay” character that he plays now. Either way, it’s distracting.
