Look, your girlfriend seems like a nice enough person. She just wants to offer friendly advice on how to keep the house clean. The thing is, the reason people leave silverware to pile up in the sink isn’t because they just don’t know how to wash it. Everyone knows HOW to wash silverware. Babies know how to wash silverware. The Muppet Babies know how to wash silverware. (What?) This is just like that time at the party when you brought her as your date to the party and she kept showing people how to hold their drinks because they had set them down on the table and she thought that meant they didn’t know how to pick them up.

But I still think it’s rude how you’re always saying “tell me more, Professor,” and “I wish I was an expert about something like how you’re such a smart expert.” She should break up with you. Because you’re a jerk.
