The Mighty Boosh, aka Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding, appeared on Fallon last night. Alright! As you may or may not know, The Mighty Boosh is one of my homework assignments for Videogum Summer School. But so far, I’ve only been able to watch one episode because I’ve been cramming for these Mad Men finals.

This week marks their first visit to the United States, so they’ve been on quite a promotional tear, with a free show at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City earlier this week, shopping sprees at Jean Claude Jacquettie, and a press junket that more than one Professional Blogger attended with interview questions in hand. And so I recognize that in this spirit of excitement and open-armed-welcoming it’s not encouraged to admit that I am not fully on board yet. Uh oh! (Because it is important to the WORLD that I be on board, you see.) The one episode I have watched so far definitely had some laffs in it, and I’m going to watch more episodes, I promise.

Besides, The Mighty Boosh don’t need me anyway. According to this interview (after the jump) they’ve been doing just fine without me.
