Oh great, it’s time for the GIFs! This week was a very special week because on Wednesday it was Videogum’s own Gabriel Delahaye™’s 100th birthday. And we’re STILL celebrating, because you only turn every age once and every age is a very special age and I found this great “Happy Birthday Gabriel” GIF. One thing I like to do on my birthday is make everyone I’m eating my birthday dinner with go around the table and say something they really like about me, or one of the funniest jokes I’ve ever told them. We can do that here for Gabe, if anyone would like to. I’ll start it off: One thing I really like about Gabe is how he knows how to punctuate decades, for example he has never written 80′s instead of ’80s. Happy Birthday, Gabe!

A couple of months ago, the women of America lost their MINDS when Bradley Cooper spoke some passable high school French on a talk show (pas d’offense). Fair enough! Trust me, I get it. Women were like, “wait a second, he’s incredibly handsome, he starred in my favorite movie of all time, Limitless, AND he speaks French?” (Gotcha, Limitless. You thought you were off the hook but I gotcha!) Well, go lie down on your day beds and take a powder ladies, because this one is STRICTLY 4 THA FELLAS. At a recent press junket for Friends with Benefits, Mila Kunis busted out her RUSSIAN. Yowza! Sure, French is the language of love and Russian is the language of borscht, but still: hot stuff! Mila Kunis, you guys. Who knew! If you had told me a year ago that the actress who did the voice of the dog on Family Guy was about to have a real Hollywood Starlette Moment I would have told you that I don’t watch Family Guy because it’s terrible and shame on you for watching Family Guy.

How To Make The ESPN Movie Interesting To My Demographic

Twentieth Century Fox has acquired the film rights for ESPN: Those Guys Have All the Fun, the oral history of ESPN, put together by James Andrew Miller and Tom Shales. From Deadline:

The book is a gossipy journey about how that venture turned from a 1970s joke that started with broadcasts of Australian rules football and rodeo, to a dominant brand in the sporting world that broadcast pro football and baseball games and become arguably the most profitable cable network ever created.

NO WAIT, hold on! Wake up! Ahhh did I lose you? Are you awake again yet? Ok, great. Although Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti, who turned Accidental Billionaires into The Social Network, are on board as producers, and hey The Social Network was a pretty good movie, THIS movie sounds like the most boring movie I have ever heard of in my entire life. And I have heard of upwards of 30 movies, and they ALL bore me. So that is really saying something. The only thing more boring to me than this movie, and I’m being perfectly honest here, would be a movie about Home Depot. Not like the history of Home Depot, but just about GOING to Home Depot to look around. But luckily no one has signed on to write, direct, or star in this snoozefest yet so there is still time to make it appeal to those in the 20-30 mostly caucasian demo let’s be honest, who read Stereogum and haven’t quiet nailed down their personal style yet but they’re closer than they were two years ago and at least they’re making some progress.
