Movies that capture unique historical moments are not as bad as biopics, which are very, very bad, but this still basically looks like I Am Sam for presidents. The border between imitation and mockery is a fluid, semi-permeable one that results mostly in disaster. Then again, it is interesting to learn about our nation’s history.
