Good morning, everyone. Cute morning, everyone. This video, I’ll be honest, is a bit much. Do we really need both the kitten twitching in its sleep (on its back!) (on a bed?) AND the mom bringing it in for a big sleep hug? And do we need them both to be exceptionally cute? And do we need it first thing in our mornings? Do we need to break ALL the hearts right away? Cat Doesn’t Harm Baby

This sort of feels like one of those videos where you watch it and send it to all of your parents and everyone on the internet thinks it’s so cute and then after a few days you see an update that says something like, “The cat let the baby put its tail in its mouth because the cat was given a strong dose of a paralytic drug that later played a main role in the cat’s untimely death.” And you think, Was it worth it? And then you think, I’ve kind of already forgotten about both the video and the update, please show me the next video. So, you know, whatever. C’est la vie. And actually it looks like the cat’s doing fine. The baby is certainly the one to be worried about in this video. It probably does this all the time and will probably grow up to have a weird thing about tails. Ooohh, tails. (via TheDailyWhat)

I am a man of my word. Here’s a pretty legit cute video of a kitten farting. I know Gabe doesn’t like to post videos of cats farting so much, but I know What Women Want. Cat farts, yes?

It’s been a fun, stressful, terrifying, unfun day! We had a lot of laughs, I shared some unnecessary personal information, for some reason I brought up Beverly Hills Chihuahua a lot (I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL), it was nice. I’m glad I got to guest blog for you guys! Y’all are SUM SORTA VIDYA GUM! Tomorrow it’ll be Soft Gabe’s turn, but in the meantime, Cat Fart Open Thread! Which means show us your cat gifs! President Obama’s Oil Spill Speech Or A Deer Showering A Cat With So Many Kisses

Did you guys watch President Obama’s first address to the nation from the oval office last night? He was, of course, speaking about the whole “giant hell hole in the floor of the fucking ocean pumping out millions of gallons of thick, black death” thing. I meant to watch it, and had every intention of watching it, and then, you know, it was life and I jumped into life, so I didn’t end up watching it. It seems important during this unending environmental crisis with international implications that threatens to dismantle the President of the United States of America that I let everyone know where I am at in terms of watching stuff on TV, you know? At some point today I will watch it on-line, or read the transcript (I don’t know which one yet, but I should probably write a whole new post explaining whichever one it ends up being with a thorough description of how I made my decision). But apparently it was awful? Everyone is saying it was awful. That’s too bad. Because the fact that there is A HOLE IN THE OCEAN that is GUSHING SO MUCH OIL LIKE SO MANY GUSHERS, is already pretty fucking bad. We don’t really need bad speeches from disappointing presidents, too.

So, we can talk about that, if you guys want. OR, we can talk about the video I have posted after the jump in which A DEER SHOWERS A CAT WITH KISSES!

This cat video description really buried the lead, because the most interesting thing about “Kitty Eating A Graham Cracker” isn’t the kitty eating the graham cracker. It’s the intensely familiar audio of a popular TV show in the background:

Once I figured it out it seemed painfully obvious, and I felt dumb, but I had to listen three times. (For some reason my first two instincts were The OC and Will And Grace.) Now we know what people watch while feeding their cats possibly inappropriate treats.
