Top of the Lake is awesome! It’s a better The Killing meets Winter’s Bone and it has Peggy Olson! and crazy-ass Holly Hunter.

Remember when Gabe bashed Mad Men for being too “on the nose” with it’s metaphors and such this last season…when this show has some of the most egregious on-the-nosiery I’ve ever seen.

That being said, I still really enjoyed it because I missed Kevin Spacey being in things and also love how it looks and sounds just like Fincher’s films.

The League is my new Thursday night champion. Is it just me or has Parks and Rec been kind of lacking this season? Leslie and Ben hooked up and now it’s kinda boring and the Ron Swanson jokes are getting repetitive.

It was a GOOD (Kid, MAAd City) and a BAD (Religion – Frank Ocean and Girls – MIA video) year. We had a good new artist (Grimes) and an “old” tv show (Game of Thrones) and a little of old and new (timelines in Looper).

I think they’ve already been setting this up, Matthew has been threatening to break Downton apart, my guess is that Robert steps up and challenges him to a winner-take-all of Downtown duel.

Sorry Joaquin Phoenix, but not everyone had such an easy entry into showbiz as you. You take that for granted.

I’m not pro-lifer, but if your reason for being pro-life is that you believe “life begins at conception”, then how can you then go make exceptions to that? Does life not happen in the cases of rape or incest? Your exceptions contradict your whole reasoning.

I’m sure Al Gore would have achieved as President A LOT of the principles the Green Party supports. Certainly A LOT more than Bush. Obama too, as opposed to Romney.
