i think we need to separate scathing and probably accurate criticism of family guy from the particular bit they did involving a retard.
the only way i can reconcile this kid with reality is to work from the assumption that this whole thing is a joke. that kid is sitting at home in a robe drinking scotch in front of the fireplace and occasionally allows himself a chuckle.
