welcome to costco, i love you
Find Me On:
Goodbye Videogum! Thank you for everything. Hope to see you all at http://vgum.wordpress.com/
neverabadidea – I sent flanny my Facebook page info via Twitter. Otherwise, I will just have to roam the streets of Chicago screaming “never a bad idea!”
Thank you Videogum!
“I hope we don’t see Sophia again until the season finale so that we can just always be looking for Sophia.”
Hmmm. That’s exactly what happened. At least the writers had the good sense to get rid of the most annoying characters. You know who I’m talking about.
And debt collectors.
I just sent you a Twitter follow request? I have honestly only used Twitter to try and Tweet petitions for the Veronica Mars movie to get made. And now that’s done, so my work on Twitter has been complete. Until now!
Oh, sorry, I wasn’t actually invited to meet up with anyone, but I did bring up the idea of a Chicago Monster Pizza Party on a different thread the other day.
Ugh, this is embarrassing. I’ve never actually met any of you in real life, but have seen that some of you go to trivia nights together and what not. I was just trying to join the fun because my real life friends all had babies, and apparently that means they can’t hang out anymore. So, I guess now I’m trying to make internet friends into real friends?
I love the People’s Court, and the Doctors used to come on right after that. I would usually try to change the channel as quickly as possible to avoid being sucked into the horror stories they would tell.
Also, saw a clip on the Soup last night from the Dr. Oz show where a lady told Dr. Oz her belly button smelled, so he leaned down and sniffed it. Then he made the girl sitting next to her sniff it. Ugh Dr. shows.
I won’t be able to meet you guys, but stay warm and enjoy Chicago!
I have a psychologist for my OCD who is awesome. We are close in age and she likes great music and great tv. She is moving, so I only have one appointment left with her.
Now I have to get a new psychologist and a new blog.
I have not brought up Videogum during our sessions, but it is odd how often I bring this site up to show someone a funny video or quote one of the commenters. I waste a lot of time on the internet, and this is the best internet community.
If you are in Chicago this weekend, we should set up some kind of Chicago monster pizza party. I would totally come unless it is -20 or snowing.
Safe travels flanny!
I have seen you guys mention that site. I will definitely be visiting there.
Wait, is that why Kelly is leaving – is she running away with Aaron Paul?
Our employers will probably be very grateful for this news. Maybe we should send them a memo.
I have spent probably far too many hours reading and posting on here. Or trying to come up with a comment witty enough to get upvotes. I did get in the Monster’s ball once, and was entirely too proud of that accomplishment.
I really hope there is a way to keep this site up and running. Kelly, you have done a great job.
If Videogum cannot continue, can a bunch of monsters start a makeshift blog so we can still make fun of things like a family???
Is that “The Rabbit”?
Speaking of selfies…
So the other day I saw part of a new show called the Rich Kids* of Beverly Hills. It was a terrible nightmare but also hilarious.
One of the girls is looking to move out of her parents house, and when shown a 3 million dollar condo, has to test the lighting in the room to make sure she can get a good selfie. The 5 million dollar house was nice, but, “Who would clean the pool? Who would schedule someone to come clean the pool?” These are literally the things she was worrying about when purchasing real estate.
*They are not kids because they are all in their 20s.
That dress! Ugh.
I can’t go outside without 25 layers of clothing on, let alone eat lunch outside
Congratulations to everyone that doesn’t have shitty winter, and congratulations to the people who got engaged. No sarcasmo!
After years of watching Top Model, how did I not know this existed? I mean, Tyra Banks makes it a point to brag about all her past career points throughout the show, so I’m not sure why this never came up during one of the models’ acting challenges.
Why hasn’t Lindsay Lohan been a guest on Top Model?
Why aren’t they just creating a movie version of Modelland?
So many questions.
TBS commercials are the absolute worst. That channel is my go-to background noise channel for Friends and Seinfeld, but they play the same terrible commercials for Cougar Town, King of the Nerds, and their sitcoms over and over and over again.
I like their reruns and Conan, and was even entertained by King of the Nerds and some prank show they aired over the summer, but TBS Very Funny usually just means TBS Very Annoying.
I am only part way through season 2 of Buffy, so I haven’t seen the nerd from Men at Work yet.
TBS original programming (Men at Work, Ground Floor, Sullivan and Sons) makes me want to cry. It is so so so awful.
