This may be the best thing I’ve ever seen.
I did not understand how anyone could possibly believe that was Patrick Crawley. I just can’t believe it!!! Why did he lose his British accent? Why did he never make contact? What right does he have to be offended that no one recognized him? Dude, your face is melted off, you have a completely different voice, and everyone thinks you’re dead!!

I thought this episode was amazing. Arya straight up WALKING OUT of Harrenhal? Tyrion on his knees telling Shae “you are mine”??? Very dusty in my living room! I’m so glad there’s more than just one episode left!
I am unashamed to admit that I am excited for this! I love Liam Neeson and would watch him in anything. Rob Roy, anyone?? The man is a BADASS.
I heard that the guy who developed Sherlock for British television was initially in talks with CBS to develop this series, but he dropped out of negotiations and CBS decided to go ahead with it without him. So, yeah, I’m sure this version will be REAL good. (I am not sure that this will be good.)
My husband’s favorite show is 60 Minutes (go on, pity me) and he is always PISSED because the playoffs on CBS inevitably cut into 60 Minutes.

I adore this episode. Even though it’s so sad, I think it’s superbly done. The scene at the beginning of the episode when the upstairs household and the downstairs household are standing on either side of the library doors, all waiting for Lord Grantham to tell them the news in the middle of the night about the war–just, the best! So good! Like, we’re all in this together, even though some of us are lords and some of us are servants but there’s a war and we all love each other!
Also, OLG = THE BEST! She DOES coax the shit out of that minister!
