Can we please change the name of this blog to “Politicsgum”? It would much more accurately convey what kind of content one would expect when visiting. “Videogum” just makes me think of stuff like TV, movies, and pop-culture.

I don’t know what he should do, I’m not a homophobe harboring sadistic fantasies about killing my own gay children. It just doesn’t seem genuine at all to me. As my man Warren Buffet say, “It takes 20 years to build a reputation and only 5 minutes to lose it.”

Case in point – this

I don’t know. I think appearing in a PSA, making a trip to Nashville, and issuing a slightly more thoughtful apology is the absolute least he could do in light of the extremely bizarre and fucked up things he said. I think he’s just doing whatever his people are telling him to so he can keep his job on 30 rock and any semblance of a career in tact.

That is indeed a great speech about marriage equality

Epic beard man and this guy should do a video together

-4Posted on May 5th, 2011 | re: This Kid Is OUR Generation's Martin Luther King Jr. (53 comments)

In all seriousness, and at the risk of giving unionman unnecessary humanity, I only said something because I stuttered as a kid and went through 10 years of speech therapy and many more living inside a mental prison and nothing about it was ever funny. Also, I just don’t think the video is up to the videogum standard of quality(I’m being completely serious). This isn’t “nu thang”, which actually was hilarious and even the kid that made it thinks so now. Whether the kid is stuttering in the traditional, pathological sense or not is irrelevant to me. This video was posted and is being talked about because it’s a snapshot of a kid in what is likely one of his most uncomfortable moments as a child. This post is making fun of a kid, period. I just think this blog is better than that.

You guys are also the best. I love each and every one of you. Never change

HAHAHAHAHA. Making fun of stuttering kids is THE BEST! It’s so easy and they’re completely defenseless!

I have a dream… For side-splitting comedy!!!

My mistake.

I’m soooo glad that around a year or so ago this blog’s mission changed from being a completely non-serious and funny blog about pop culture to a negatively charged, insufferably partisan extension of HuffPo’s Op Ed section. (BTW, Kahdooz to Ariana Huffington for making $315 million off of free labor and at the very same time making a few more million selling a book lambasting capitalism) #NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement

Hahahahaha. Way to call out those politicians for their cheap suits, Gabe. I love how you can make fun of someone’s suit or talk about all these 5 star restaurants you eat at and literally in the very next sentence talk shit about other people not understanding the dilemma many minorities in America find themselves in. Hahaha. I mean, you clearly do, so please continue.

Why the fuck are we talking about celebrities here? I thought this blog was supposed to be about the tea party.

-19Posted on Apr 4th, 2011 | re: Anthony Weiner (D-NY) Takes The Republicans To Bill School (57 comments)

Probably the same as his position of being a total douche and not paying parking tickets. (Very much in favor of)

And politicsgum hits it out of the park again! I love the political coverage on this site. It’s definitely what I come here for.

Oh Jesus, fuck you guys. I was just trying to say where I’m coming from. I guess I was wrong, I guess I’m stupid, but the last thing I need is all you miserable trolls jumping on my case. Don’t you seriously have anything better to do than write a 1000 word essay on a Friday night about what an idiot I am? Good job convincing me that you guys are cowardly(because I’m sure these aren’t the kind of things you would have to balls to say to someone’s face) assholes. That’s about all I’ve gained from this exchange. I’ll reiterate, fuck you guys.

-16Posted on Feb 25th, 2011 | re: Monsters' Ball: The Week's Best Comments (123 comments)

As I said in the comments originally, I don’t have a problem with federal money going to basic medical care or birth control for poor people.
I’m also not saying that people like having abortions, but some people do use it as their primary method of birth control. Maybe it’s just due to personal bias that doesn’t hold much relevance in the real world but I knew a couple in high school that didn’t use condoms or any other type of conventional birth control. When she would get pregnant they would go to planned parenthood and pay a small copay(I think it was about $60) and get an abortion. They did this 4 times. I realize there’s not many people that are that stupid but abortion is a surgery with risks and should only used as a last resort.

Why are you such an a sarcastic, hateful ass to everyone, rajma?

-31Posted on Feb 24th, 2011 | re: This Is Just A Very Good Speech About Abortion Funding (123 comments)

Rajma, you’re a tool, and I’m sure you wouldn’t have the balls to say that to my face. And I never said I would vote against abortion, you’re just a narrow minded ass that hears what he wants to.

See what I mean? You guys are dicks

Why is liberal propaganda needlessly “cooked” into every top chef recap? (See what I did there?)
