Yep. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_N_Roll_McDonald's Incidentally, Ray Kroc, founder of McDonald’s, ALSO went to my high school. Alma mater of VIPs, apparently. HA.
I went to high school with the girl that he peed on. She was his goddaughter (seriously) and a very nice young lady. I also knew a lot of the people who testified against him in the trial, and um, he should definitely be in jail.
Somewhat unrelated, but R. Kelly also hangs out late-night style in Chicago’s Rock and Roll McDonald’s on the weekends and attempts to give out all THREE of his cell phone numbers (different area codes, duh) to drunk young ladies who have the misfortune of walking past him while he is sitting ON TOP OF A GARBAGE CAN. In a McDonald’s. Not that I’ve experienced this personally. (My friends have experienced this personally).
Sadface Lindsay. Sometimes I say things like “OH, today on Videogum, Lindsay (or Gabe) said…” and my roommate is all, “You are aware that you don’t actually know these people, right?” and I’m all, “You need to be quiet.” It’s like that. Anyway, you will be missed around here.

That was fantastic. Totally makes me feel like I wasted two hours of my life helping my sister assemble and stuff her PAPER invitations a couple of weeks ago. Oh wait, I felt that way before I saw this video.
psst…it’s from ROB Marshall. Not Garry. Garry is of “Happy Days” fame. Rob is the trick responsible for Chicago. Which, incidentally, I hated. Although that might just have been an allergic reaction to Renee Zellweger. Anyway, Nine looks pretty good, but that might just be a side effect of Daniel Day-Lewis. Here’s hoping!
I would like to have that job for say, Lifetime Television for Women.
“Do you like to see women fall in love with the wrong guy? And then marry him? And have his baby? And then get abused by him? And then leave him? And then get stalked by him? And then learn to FIGHT BACK, before being cruelly murdered by said-former husband? Then you’ll love EVERYTHING on our network!”
Dream job, here I come!
Agreed!
Ever since Juliet first appeared on the scene with her insanely irritating smug smile, I’ve been hoping she’d get killed off in some gruesome way. BUT THEN. Then she had to turn all less-annoying-than-Kate in the last few episodes and be all “James I love you so much!” that I was actually SAD when she presumably bit it.
I hope Kate dies too, and then Jack and Sawyer realize that they are totes gay for each other, and ditch the Lost island for Fire Island. That would be the best ever.

I agree that this episode was pretty weak, but I didn’t think Jude Law was entirely to blame for that. The material he was given to work with was just not funny. I think under the circumstances, he did alright. Also, I appreciated the fact that he was game to use his failures as jokes (Alfie, A.I., that whole impregnating that random woman last year thing). Way to laugh at yourself Jude! Because not very many people were laughing WITH you!
