Totally agree.

And that’s what is sad. He’s just another politician. Instead of doing the right thing immediately, he waited for the most politically opportune moment.

No doubt it is a good thing. The President is all powerful and what he says matters a great deal. But, I don’t think he deserves personal praise for waiting SO LONG to do it.

Bingo. Let’s not heap on overwhelming praise for something he should have said a loooonnngg time ago. And it took unprecedented outrage over the North Carolina thing for him to finally say it.

I watched SNY three weeks ago for the first time. I really love the idea of the film, and I think Gabe’s interpretation is right on. But I can’t really say I ENJOYED the film. Maybe if I had watched it a couple years ago when I was depressed, I’d have a greater appreciation for it. But at this point in my life, it just doesn’t have the same meaning. If that makes any sense, (probably not).

I would absolutely love this. It’d be extremely low budget, I imagine.

Sometimes I feel self-conscious and sad because all of you monsters are so ridiculously funny. I’d love to contribute, but I’m a lot…less funny. But to be honest, I’m happy to lurk. You guys are the best.
