Yeah, Inception was a pretty cool movie. I still maintain that he never really got out of the dream and that he was Tyler Durden the whole time.
Also: can we praise the 10th Avenger in this film…. Alan Silvestri. Damn that man writes an awesome hero score.
This list is unfair…. because, No Homo, but ALL of the Avengers are totally fuckable.
I really liked the part where HOLY SHIT ALL OF THESE COOL SUPERHEROES ARE DOING REALLY COOL SUPERHERO THINGS AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF LAUGHS AND AWESOME ACTION AND I CAN STILL BE EMOTIONALLY CONNECTED BECAUSE OF CLARK GREGG AND HONESTLY I WASN’T LOOKING FOR SHAKESPEARE BUT THEY EVEN FOUND A WAY TO HUMOROUSLY ADD SHAKESPEARE AND YES! (Also: I really really want to play a superhero in a superhero movie. That is my goal in life.)
I’m actually getting to comment on Monsters Ball before 30 other people got to it?! AND I’m going to Karaoke tonight?! And it is 65 degrees outside in the middle of MARCH!?!? Holy fuck I need to go slut it up to celebrate!
Ohhhh, no I would totally love being on a Segway tour of the distillery district of Toronto. Why not?
I have a sad love for the half desiring “ugh”s. Like, fuck those people, but more so because I wish I was one of them. Just like the football/lacrosse players in high school. Or 6′ tall bartenders who literally have the same skill set and everything else as me but they just happen to be 2 inches taller.
“My boobs are bigger” – Paula before getting her left foot amputated.
I’m with you teacherman. BnL are a fun goofy band who know how to write some awesome music.
I am going to defend this idea. I mean think about it, most of the most beloved musicals of all time are based off of other things (movies, books, other plays). Phantom of the Opera (which I do not care for) is based off of the novel, which spawned a movie, which spawned the musical which spawned another movie. My Fair Lady is based off of the play Pygmalion. Rogers and Hammerstein’s Carousel is based off of the play Liliom. Ragtime was a novel and a movie first. And then theres Lion King and Beauty and the Beast.
All I’m saying is that source material does not denote the value of a musical, and just because something is respected as it is (I’m assuming we all thing Animal House is hilarious) doesn’t mean it is exempt from being adapted and expanded.
I think this could be a really good show. I love BnL and Animal House and they seem to be styles that’ll mesh together well.
One last note: Ghost the Musical is actually kind of great. Not as great as Matilda, but still a fun listen.
AH SPIDER BONER
Look, I’m sure it’ll run for more than a week. I mean, If I Had $1,000,000 I would keep it open as long as I could.
“One laugh? One laugh? I don’t think so!” – This woman, before whipping out her newest and most miraculous laugh “Magnum.”
Well you know badideajeans, that not only is it our duty, but it is our 1st Amendment Right. FREEDOM!
Kirk Cameron is a DWEEB! (That’s still something people say right?)
Solitary laugh reminds me of Maniacal laugh. And I don’t like it.
See, these are the kind of things in this world that really just make me lose hope… On one hand we have hate mongering and flat out ignorance. On the other hand, we all have a right to free speech so it’s not my place to say someone cannot voice their shitty opinions.
Fuck it all.
So you’re saying that this photo is unrehearsed?
My friend wanted me to give her 10 headlines of social issues in the news for one of her classes, and I wish this had come up sooner.
Tyler Perry’s Madeas Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo.
This is at the point in the movie where Gosling gives a smouldering look toward his foe, and the foe’s head subsequently explodes in slow motion Real-D (Thus making the movie more violent than Drive.)
After some self reflexion, I change my casting. CUSACK for ALL OF THE ROLES.
Bill Murray was rumored to be cast as a ghost too, but he is too busy golfing and getting paid to go to golf tournaments and laugh and be funny.
I am not ashamed of that. Have you seen High Fidelity? It’s just so good. Grosse Point Blank? Hilarious. Say Anything? Classic. Cradle Will Rock? So interesting. Being John Malkovitch? So different and fantastic.
Eh, Cusack isn’t right for the role. He’s waiting on The Peanuts: All Grown Up series…
Lies, I definitely would want Matthew Lillard to do it.
