I am completely baffled that the Millennium-series got as big as it did. It’s literally Twilight for grown ups, The main character is the most shamelessly blatant author avatar on this side of Dan Brown. The girl who is presented (and applauded) as a feminist symbol is so clearly a nothing but masturbation material. Nothing happens until two thirds into the book. Also, my native language is pretty close to Swedish. You aren’t missing much by reading the translation.
