Also, Lizzie describes Jane as being beautiful. It might be because Lizzie looks up to Jane or is a little self-deprecating. But anyway, definitely watch The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.

Did anyone else have a hard time figuring out who the wife was? She apparently had no knowledge of her wedding vows, which were clearly printed on giant posterboard…like all wedding vows, naturally.

All I have to say is: I teach 7th grade, and the future looks bleak. Today a kid asked me “who the holocaust is”. In a world where you can look up and know anything–most adolescents know nothing. And maybe that’s the way it should be, they’re only 12…but also, in some ways, they’re not? They are way too grown as far as social things, but are navigating that world with an adolescent brain, which is pretty scary and dangerous.

My first year teaching we had an assembly where some guy played volleyball against himself and also against like, 80 students at a time. My co-worker leaned over and said, “Remember on the Simpsons when the yo-yo team came to school? This is our yo-yo team.”
Guys? This is our yo-yo team.

Did anyone else sing the Cheezy Blasters song from 30 Rock when they heard “cool blast”? No? Me either.

When Tracy Morgan played Star Jones on SNL I wonder if he knew they would someday share the honor of saying ignorant, homophobic nonsense.

Martyrs is highly disturbing but what’s more disturbing is I think I liked it? At least it makes you think. Although none of those thoughts are happy or positive.

What the HELL are Regionals?! (They’re THIS close!)

I love that the show occasionally loses characters, because it adds to the reality. I’m just not sure if a Mad Men without Peggy Olson is a Mad Men I want to watch (but still will).
