To be totally fair, “Cordoba House” was the original name.

If the wingnut had remembered what it was called, he would have next launched into a prepackaged spiel about how Muslims violently overthrew Cordoba, Spain and intended this name as an allusion to how they’ll do the same here. (When in fact, they wanted to call it that to reflect the building’s intended nature as a center of learning and understanding between religions, much as the city of Cordoba was.)
