Man, what a great thread! New favourite thread, right there. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, That One.
Fun Blockbuster story – I once received a letter from a debt collection agency trying to recover the 33 cents I owed Blockbuster on a video (I’m old) I had returned late and apparently only partially paid for. I wonder if this excellent use of resources has anything to do with Blockbuster’s stunning continued success.
Me too! But clearly I’m a lax reader too…
Thanks for this clip – for reals…
I know I’m tardy to the party, but just wanted to say thanks for this pic – it’s gone straight up on my wall-of-joy at work (it’s the only thing standing between me & crushing despair)
I can’t get past :17 and now I feel like I need a bleach bath and PTSD counselling. ick.
Oh no – I coulda sworn I didn’t double-post! The shame, the shame…

Hmmm, I don’t know. For me, all this commenting about commenting really adds to the community feeling. I like it. Oh, and arugula for the win, no-herbo.

Agreed. I really loved his depiction of a self-important and rather incompetent middle manager because it was just so real ? ham & all. Plus, it?s always fun to see my fellow pencil-pushing bureaucrats get a little cinematic love.
My countdown for the ‘very special episode’ starring Tyra Banks starts in 3, 2, 1… (Fingers crossed it features smiling with one’s eyes and cutting)
