Wonderful thread. Can we please have weekly episode recaps, please please please?
Am I the only one saddled with questions from the What To Expect movie? Why is Chris Rock in this? Why doesn’t he have any lines in the trailer? Why is his only line at the very end not a joke or wise-crack, but a comment about receipts? How can this possibly be based on a non-fiction pregnancy guide book? Is J-Lo doing this movie as PR to adopt a real-life African baby? Why is Cameron Diaz on Dancing With The Stars? Why is one subplot not about pregnancy at all, but Chace Crawford? None of this makes sense goddamnit!
I’ve seen that movie! God bless Cinemax circa 1999.
I’ve been following this season and this was the first episode during which I was so bored, I started counting the books on my shelf.
What’s a ‘biscuit face’???
I have this theory that James Franco takes ridiculous amounts of Adderall.
I bought a fake Couch bag in Beijing for the hell of it, and wore it out, and this one friend of a friend said to me, “Oh, that’s a fake. We studied how fake bags hurt the designers in my ethics class at Fashion Marketing School, and how fucked up it is.” Such a humanitarian!
I guess when you’re a billionaire you can just hire some woman to fly out and smack your pie-attacker in the face.
No please not Synechdoche, New York! I really like that movie *little voice*
I can’t believe there is a clip where that man asks, “You know about the Holocaust?”. No, we don’t. What is that again?
Empire Records: A bunch of loser record-store employees won’t just, FADE AWAY.
Game of Thrones: The treacherous Stark family attempts to rob King Joffrey of his rightful throne, even going so far as to condemn his Queen mother of incest with her twin brother…but they shared a womb!
The Hunt is one of my absolute favorite threads of all time, but this post was “eh”. But I think it was “eh” because the movie is “eh”. Eh, I don’t know. I DO know that I’m now on Team Movie Club thread (what with the awesome review of X-Men: First Class). As well as on Team Dude-who-bangs-and-shatters-bedpost.
The Core is an inexplicably underrated disaster/sci-fi movie if I ever saw one.
