A friend of mine posted this on his FB, due to the fact that I love the show and he doesn’t. I totally understand it, and hey more TB for me. After reading your many posts about the show, Alan Ball and how you will continue to watch the show, even though they have characters that you feel have no resonance and blah blah blah, where I think it’s weird, if you don’t like it so much why keep watching? It leads me to believe that you’re guilty pleasure is True Blood. It’s ok if you don’t admit it. And comments about how it’s not will further my belief that it is. As a person who likes the show, without having read the books first, yeah I can say there were a few episodes they could have cut out of both season 1 and 2. No, I don’t believe that it’s a reference to the homosexual community and politics, it’s just so happens that a woman named Charlaine Harris wrote a book that used a saying from the modern world and turned it for Vampires, so that people would read/buy her books. All the seasons are based off the books, so I would suggest that you read the books.
