This is show is terrible. But there were two terribly awesome aspects.
1. EVERY actor is a poor man’s X. Bizarro Julianne Moore was the tip of the iceberg. You can make a game out of it.
2. When they showed the TV image of President Martinez (lulz) singing the CLINIC bill (LULZ). Next he’s gonna stop the war in Arabia.

Here we go:
Once I was at a karaoke bar and this guy came in and basically shoved his way to the front and grabbed the mic and started singing Michael Jackson. All these people were taking pictures with their phones and whatnot and I was thinking, oh he is going on the youtubes for being a jerk, for sure. This guy next to me was like “OMG DON’T YOU KNOW WHO THAT IS?? IZ THE GUY FROM MAROON 5!” He sang one song and then he dropped the mic on the floor and left.

sigh, image! fuck it.

Do you remember the first time you saw Idiocracy and you were like, huh, that was an interesting take on the current and future state of logic and intellect in society demonstrated by extreme satire? But then little by little things kept happening in the world that were creepily similar to things the writers of Idiocracy invented as depressing jokes, and pretty soon you wondered if maybe Mike Judge really was from the future? My coworker was trying to convince my other coworker to watch the the Predator trailer, and he was saying “It was directed by Robert Rodriguez and Christian Bale is in it” and so I said “OH and TOPHER GRACE!” and he was like “oh……………………OK…..i guess it does……” I’m just over here doing my part TOPH!

THIS is what I’ve been thinking about these days! I am not sure how to feel about the whole Jacob/smoke monster opposition thing being a symbol of, I don’t know, the struggle/balance between good and evil, because, seriously, the smoke monster man might be bad, but also, Jacob is an asshole! I mean he better have a pretty good reason for basically just fucking with all those people’s lives on that lighthouse compass of discontent. I will seriously kick something if the MYSTERY ends up being: 2 ghosts, who are both assholes, play Battle Royale with people on a ghost island because they are bored (or maybe they have a bet).
