My favorite part is that it’s entitled “broad busts watermelons”. Who says broad anymore? Apparently collectors of NNFCP (Non-Nude Fruit-Crushing Porn).
He needed to autotune that bitch.
I with ‘I’m with Busey’ was available on DVD.
But was it as good as Delgo?
Cage du Freak: The Transformer’s Apprentice
If we’re talking semantics, his rape charge was dropped, and he pled guilty to the lesser charge of “engaging in unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor”. And those aren’t scare quotes. Them’s real quotes.
That said, it has never been my intent to downplay the severity of his execrable act. Whatever you decide to call it, it was wrong, it was sleazy, it deserved punishment by the law. He voluntarily submitted and carried out the terms of his plea bargain and was released. The judge ordered him back to carry out 48 more days because of negative press. The prosecutor on the case even claims that the way the judge acted was dishonest and self-serving, and had nothing to do with justice for the victim.
Sorry, you’re mistaken.
I clearly have the unpopular opinion here, but at least mine is an informed opinion (and informed by more than just ‘Wanted and Desired’, thank you).
Look, in no way do I think it was right of Polanski to give the victim quaaludes or to have sex with her. He was arrested, he pled guilty to a lesser charge, and completed his psychological evaluation as ordered by the court. The way “justice” (yes, “scare quotes” are absolutely appropriate in this case) works, you do what the court deems to be an appropriate punishment, and then you are free to move on with your life. Polanski did that, and the judge changed the rules on him. That is not “justice”.
Now, is 42 days of psychological evaluation enough of a punishment for drugging and fucking a 13 year old girl? Nope, not it if was my daughter. But psychological evaluation is what the judge ordered, that’s what Polanski served, so he should have been done… And free to “live like a hero” in the U.S. or in Europe, based on the merits of him being a legendary filmmaker.
Wanted & Desired is well worth watching.
Polanski served 42 days under psychological evaluation at a high security prison (the terms of his plea bargain), and was found by the prison psychologist not to be a risk for recidivism, and freed. The judge then changed the terms of his punishment after he was freed to give him another 48 days of… what? Psychological evaluation? To determine that he was still not at risk for recidivism?
It’s a way more complicated issue than “dude fucked a 13 year old and bolted to France”. He has settled with the victim, she has publicly forgiven him, and doesn’t want any further legal action or media attention. I can’t see how his arrest will result in any “justice” being served for anyone.

This movie is driven by… PASSION.
