I willingly went to see Country Strong last night and ENJOYED it. In my defense, I hate Gwenny but LOVE movies about SINGING! Anywhoozlebees, I still want Gabe to rip this movie a new one.
Not gonna let anyone ruin this story. It’s heartwarming, and sweet, and makes me wanna cry, and hopefully it’ll show that homeless people aren’t scary–they’re normal monsters like you and me! You go, Ted Williams.

Yall, I’m just gonna go ahead and totally out myself as a chorus nerd here–John Jacobson is kind of a huge deal in the choral world (yep, that’s a thing). My mom, an elementary school music teacher, is OBSESSED with John Jacobson. She takes her choir to his clinics EVERY year, she totally geeks out about it, and it’s basically the highlight of her entire year. If I wasn’t so sure that John wasn’t a ladies man, I would just assume that John is probably my real dad.
Degrassi is STILL great, it totally goes there. Like remember when you thought Jimmy getting shot and subsequently paralyzed was crazytown? Degrassi recently covered HOARDING, which I think is a MUCH more relevant and controversial issue for teens today.

Anyone else think that their outfits were from the local Albuquerque Hot Topic? The “Large” sticker on the ironic Kenny Rogers tee looked like classic Hot Topic, and then the white jeans, and the red Chucks? So Hot Topic-y!
