I grew up listening to you and I wonder if you fully understand your influence with today’s middle-aged American women like myself. You and Duran Duran are as much a part of Generation X’s American coming of age experience as John Hughes and the Breakfast Club — maybe even as much as Ronald Reagan and Gorbachev (spelling?). And, now that we Gen-exers are turning 40 and Barack Obama is the first Gen-ex president, we hold the most voting power. Please, please, please stump for Obama in 2012. PLEASE!!!!!! America needs you!
