Just watched the red band trailer again to make sure, but I’m going to have to stay with being excited to see this. And Alan is right that David Gordon Green directing this will be reason enough to see it on August 7th at midnight (even if it does in fact suck)

I never saw Darkon, but I liked Monster Camp better.

Seriously though I saw Monster Camp at the standing room only Cucalorus screening too, although I don’t know how I should take the director’s claim that he wasn’t trying to mock his subjects since most of the audience was in fact pointing and laughing at how ridiculous LARPing is. Sure its a documentary, but I wonder how much more or less I would have been laughing AT the subject(s) of this film if it had been created by a longtime LARPer instead.
