I think Tarantino made an interesting point with the whole film scene at the end. We see all the Germans laughing and cheering as the Americans are being shot up over and over on screen, and we’re meant to feel disgusted that people would react to on-screen murder (of Americans) in such a way. And then all of these Germans get either shot to death, or burned to death shortly after, and we all enjoy it because they’re Nazis. I felt very disturbed that I enjoyed their on-screen murders, and I loved that a movie was able to make me think deeply about that.
