Looks like I’m the only one who actually likes this show. Well, enough of this show. Ah, well. Mockery is good for the soul.
Anyway, oddly enough, during the post-Superbowl ‘guy with live explosives in his chest in the hospital’ episode, you find out Izzie responds to sad/serious situations (like funerals) with inappropriate laughter. So, actually consistent characterisation, especially now that she’s been turned into much more of a bitch.
And while TR Knight isn’t really doing a Caruso (filling the contract for five years beats skipping out after barely a year), I don’t see him doing much else. Of course, the last year on the show he was barely doing anything anyway, so it won’t be much of a stretch.
I will say I was annoyed that not a single male on the show cried over George. Men do cry, you know. It’s true! Even real men! Look at Alex! There’s a saying about it and everything! But only the women cried, because that’s what women do. Still, they’re all doctors, so they deal with death on such a greater basis than mine that I can understand why they can compartmentalise it. Still, Webber at least should have had a little bawl in the privacy of his office.
After watching Death Sentence, a terrible movie starring Kevin Bacon as a father in search of vigilante justice directed by Saw's James Wan, Gabe embarked on The Hunt For The Worst Movie of All Time. This is his sad journey.
