I would like Bret or Jemaine to play me.
Rhys Darby could play my boss and I am sure I could find something for Kristen Schaal to play.
Very excited for this, but does it really have to be split into two films?
I didn’t know Armond White was a Videogum Monster!
But my question is, not just for Winwood, but why would you want to see a movie if you think it’s predecessors are very blah & awful? Aren’t you setting yourself up to be annoyed and hate the film? Or is it that you have to go see a film, that you won’t like because everyone else will be talking about it?

The game is at 4:15, just the perfect time to mess up delicious family dinners and to postpone gift giving until everyone has had too many White Russians.
I agree with the notion, but TDKR takes place 8 years after TDK and Gotham is supposedly in peace time. If I am to think that Gotham is really a major city, it would have a football team. And speaking as a real life person who has season tickets to the Detroit Lions (humblebrag) there is always the amped up security in case of a terrorist attack at NFL stadiums. So if I was Bane and I wanted to attack Gotham, a football game would be a good choice.
I just hate the fact that it is such a blatant cameo by Hines Ward. I assume the white QB in the trailer is Ben “Sexual Assault” Roethlisberger but at least he had the decency to not use his real name on the jersey. I just adds to the list of why Hines Ward is the Worst, as Togothewhite accurately pointed out.
*btw Facebook Connect is the worst when trying to make a comment*
Between the trailer & the 6-minute prologue I went to as a big nerd, I am very worried for Bruce Wayne/Batman. He has mysterious sexy women hitting on him and this guy with a metallic Sean Connery voice trying to kill him.
By the way, I don’t think it would happen, but there is a part of me that is worried that Nolan may kill off some characters that I love.
You are out of your element Donny!
Just have Stephen Colbert tell Lorne Michaels that he doesn’t need SNL, but he is moving on to Hollywood.
Colbert for host with a special guest appearance from Amy Sedaris. Who wouldn’t love that?
I think that Stephen Colbert should host and bring his producers and writing staff with him.
Colbert would be great because he is easier to relate to and more likable than Jon Stewart.*
* I love Jon Stewart, but think he is way more divisive than Colbert *
I enjoy Taco’s (Jon Lajoie) Pedophile beard and rapist glasses.
Is it me or are the Asian populations very well represented in the adorable animal videos?
Time to step up our game AMERICA!
I thought the Baby was going to be the Spokesbaby for the Car Wash.
Also, after these last 19 episodes of the series can we get a spin-off of young Gus and young Mike and their early days of being best buddies. I feel like this could be the best show on NBC outside of the Thursday Comedies that involve a government agency, a community college and a paper distributor.
Excellent work, but I wouldn’t expect anything less from StoryCorps.
I love that they use Frederick “Alina’s Place” as well, very nice touch.
Urban Politics 3120: What “The Wire” can teach us about the business of drugs and politics.
Ryan Gosling had me at Half Nelson and then cemented the man crush with Lars and the Real Girl. Home slice is a very good actor.
Is Jane Goodall single? I feel like Andy and Jane need to meet.
Also, I feel cheated that Terry Gross isn’t interviewing him.
It is like the reverse Winnie the Pooh
You should’ve said Spoiler Alert…
Now I have no reason to go see Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
I think Gabe needs to do the commentaries for the Blu-Ray and circle things like John Madden…BOOM!
Yes Beginners was really great. It was such a nice, quiet and touching film. Ewan McGregor was perfect and I loved Melanie Laurent in it as well. So much so that I added her to my French Women Crush list, along with Audrey Tautou and Marion Cotillard.
Maybe he will become the Jim Abbott of Orchestra or Cardiovascular Surgery!
My wife and I saw it on Friday and were not impressed at all, especially with the Transgendered implications. Usually she is very excited about seeing penis in a mainstream film, but she was dissatisfied with how they went about it.
My favorite unbelievable part *Spoiler* is how the father-in-law just decides that Ed Helms is a good man for his daughter to marry. I am pretty sure if I had a daughter I would not like to have a suitor go from being like rice to being a sociopath. But then again, maybe in Bangkok cutting off a family members finger is like asking for permission to propose to the daughter.
I might be 68 but I can still kick your ass or steal you woman!
I agree that many women love raunchy humor, my wife being one of them.
I guess my viewpoint is that as a whole society “raunchy” films tend to be the big summer comedy successes. About 99% of those films are “male” oriented because that is where big wigs in Hollywood assume most of the money lies. That 16-30 male demo is what they want to get into the theaters and get them there multiple times. The real difficulty it seems, from reading various blogs, is getting women and men out to the movie theater to see the same movie and have an equal amount of both sexes enjoy it. I would hope that Bridesmaids is able to attain that because it would mean studios would be more willing to greenlight strong female comedies.
Any quality comedy, let alone a comedy with primarily female leads, has to go against that trend. So I felt Bridesmaids was just trying a little to hard (at times) to attain that “raunchyness” in hopes of bringing in both a male and female audience.
