Caused laughter and groans earlier this week at a screening of Inception. I had totally forgotten about this trailer (and thread) and I was delighted the “Mind of M. Night Shyamalan” was still causing a crowd reaction. I thought the crowd was about to throw stuff. And we had already sat through some pretty appalling previews with minimal despair.

Ah, all Gabe’s (and Max’s) suffering was worth this slideshow…

I liked the video. Love the pun.

I only watch ads for Lost and then offer up theories to my friends who do watch Lost about what is going on. They cry. I suspect my theories might be as good as their theories. In any case, I intend to carry on with my theories until the entire body of Lost is available to watch in one sitting. Why start watching now when I can still torture my friends?

I found the fewer numbers of comments somewhat reassuring (so much to read! so much to process!), although I suppose for Videogum’s sake we want really long comment threads. TWSS? I’ll be going now.

I was wondering about dessert as well. What follows blooming onion? Maybe fried pie.

(as a sidenote, the blooming onion squiching noises were nice. They were an enjoyable counterpoint to the squiching noises for the hair oil in the opening sequence.)

I am embarrassed for Art School Confidential. I was told not to see it, but I didn’t believe my source. Now I do.
