Seriously who the hell cares? Inception was a great movie, I have never ever seen nor heard of these stupid comics of Scrooge nor any gummi bears bs… But I have heard and seen inception and it was GREAT.

Completely different idea to all of the crap u claim to be “rip offs” because they share no similarities minus the overall “plot” which is nothing new to hollywood or anything for that matter, I bet anything the inspiration for these scrooge comics and the gummi bears rotating room was found in some other form of creative writing or storytelling.

“rip off” is just another way to describe inspiration, if Christopher Nolan had cast Scrooge as his main character and the beagles as the badguys, then its a “rip off” but that is not the case, inception is a 2 1/2 hour masterpiece of art, you bitch and moan about the general idea being taken from a comic book that NO ONE cares about?

Honestly, people are plain ignorant. Every song, every artist, every thing you ever see or hear is inspired by someone else’s writing, art or ideas…

Personally I’m glad if Nolan got his inspiration for the movie straight out of that comic book, the story is completely different while the plot has minor resemblence in the overall idea, he took a stupid comic and made something the world will enjoy for decades to come. “stealing” in art is just another way to say “inspired by”. Every short film I make is derived from my ideas/thoughts/expierences throughout my life, all of which are given/taken from external inputs and information(aka a show i watched or a book i read), however none of the work I do can be directly compared to anything unless you break it down to its simplest form, in which case every single movie/book/story you know is stolen from something else when its broken down to its basic and most general form of the idea. … without inspiration there is nothing but a void,
