Thank you. Dustin Lance Black was clearly the worst aspect of Milk, writing terrible words and awful scenes (wheelchair kid? Excuse my vomit). The reason that movie isn’t a terrible failure is due solely to the actors (Brolin in particular creates a whole character out of Black’s nothing stereotype) and Van Sant, who made a better movie last year with Paranoid Park.

Haven’t seen Last Days though, as Michael Pitt is in it.

sorry for the PEDANTRY: buddy’s hippie daughter is named tabitha or “tabby,” which i will never manage to forget ever because seriously, no one needs to hear about your pubic hair. how much does she look like buddy too?! their noses and chins are the exact same, A+++ emmy-award winning casting.

buddy garrity is the greatest person on TV when it isn’t billy riggins nailing his hand to a wall.

Maybe my favorite moment in the episode was this:

Julie: “Dad, I only eat free-range eggs.”
Coach: “That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard.”

which reminds me of this, from season 1:
Coach: “Contrary to popular belief I’m quite good at communicating with the womenfolk.”
Tami: “Honey, that’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard.”

Either that or Mindy and Billy’s declaration of love in the Landing Strip. Billy Riggins = A+ laugh-a-minute goldmine.
