This has been a really good week. Nearly everyone I know finished their degree this week, so we’re all relaxed and cheerful. I went to Radiohead on Tuesday – I never thought I would see them in New Zealand. And while Kelly said it was snowing in her life, I am for once glad I don’t live in New York because when I got home today I sat in the sun with my cat and it was awesome.

I actually live in New Zealand and it’s strange the way my country’s slow move from reality into fantasy is revealed to me by way of a pop culture blog.
My Dad even works for Air New Zealand and this is the first time I’ve heard about this thing.

Where I live we don’t have McFlurry’s. It makes me McFlurrious.
They totally are and it was being filmed where I live and some of my friends were extras in it which is funny but I also hope they don’t make me watch it.
I know, right? I’m from New Zealand too and all I could think was, If John Minto hadn’t caused such a ruckus and let South Africa play us in the ’80s then racism would have been ended that much earlier.
