I admire most the kid’s ability to go from looking basically content to pitiful as all get out once his mother asks what’s wrong. It’s not until the question is asked that anything appears to be wrong at all.
However, I’m bothered by the mother’s seeming inability to pluralize the word “donut.” You’d think it was a word like “deer” or “moose.”
Are you guys Grand Rapidians? I went to college there, and I’m hoping to move back within the next year! I had no idea there were other GR folks around, certainly not as active as you guys! I would love to #occupythemeanwhile, but alas I’m out of the country.

Well, we did see her lying on the ground like a dead body at acting class, her body disappearing into the floor, leaving us only with her head and hands…yeah, I almost feel like the Pete “foreshadowing” started to be laid on pretty thick this episode, perhaps to the point of red herring.
