I like my Meatballs summer-campy with a chance of Bill Murray.
I would probably only see this movie if the animation was done in the style of the original book:
I remember it being really detailed and weirdly colored and the people’s faces were kind of creepy, which sort of fits in with the imagery of the book. Oh well. You kids and your CGI.
Has anyone seen the version of the trailer for this where the voice over guy is talking solely in stoner-speak? About munchies and harshing your mellow and stuff? Because that seems inappropriate for the marketing of a kid’s movie.
I can’t find the clip on the internet though, so you’ll have to take my word for it.
