The new promos running for Thursday’s NBC lineup contains an odd moment in its 30 Rock tease: “Tina gets played…”:

While this could have been a boneheaded decision by NBC executives (“Call her “Tina”! Tina has more name recognition!”) it’s still a mistake. They wouldn’t call Michael Scott “Steve.” And we all know Tina Fey and Liz Lemon dress totally differently. (But for those of us who frequently mix them up in our heads, at least we’re not alone.)     i don’t have any specifics or youtube clips to offer up, but i’m pretty sure they’ve done that before, referred to her as “tina” in promos. maybe during the election lead-up when she was on nbc mostly non-stop?
