VideoGum’s One Year Birthday and a Renewal of the best freaking television show in the universe….coincidence? I think not.
On a related note, caught a screening of Observe and Report last night with Jody Hill and Seth Rogen there for a Q and A. I figured something must be up with EB & D since when asked if it was coming back Jody acted very aloof and seemed to not want to talk about it.
Observe and Report was great too, which surprised me actually. Lots of huge laughs and a good combination of subtle and shocking humor. A lot of the reviews made it sound like 90 over-the-top minutes, but there is a good balance between the sane and insane…which I am guessing is supposed to parallel the main character’s bi-polar disorder…or something.

I have mixed feelings about this one. On the one hand I am excited to see Danny McBride getting the respect he deserves, on the other I kind of liked the way it ended and scared the second season will come no where close to the first season.
