One of the running jokes in Eastbound and Down, the best fucking show that was on television, was Kenny Powers audiobook, You’re Fucking Out, I’m Fucking In. It was the fount of Kenny’s wisdom, and a fountain of laffs. Now, someone has done us all the service of supercutting those moments together into a solid LOLk investment. Smart. Whoever made this has the mind of a scientist.

I misread the headline as “Kenny Rogers” instead of “Kenny Powers.” And I was thinking, wow, Kenny Rogers is getting pretty EDGY… what’s he got to lose… etc.
I can totally imagine Kenny Powers pulling a Kenny Rogers (the former Yankee/Ranger/Tiger, not of Kenny Rogers’ Roasters fame) and punching a cameraman. Everything Danny McBride touches turns to gold.

Aah, this was great…. it’s like a bedtime story for me right now–in fact, I may just listen to this on a regular basis til Kenny fuckin’ Powers comes back to us. I miss him already!
Why can’t I get anyone into this show?!? I have the season on my laptop and show about anyone willing to spare a half hour and NO ONE finds it hilarious like I do…. what’s wrong? Am….am I different from the other kids, uncle Gabe??
How did you get this on your laptop? I must not trust in the internets enough because I can’t find it anywhere. I’ve only seen half the season (I work on Sunday nights) and must see more.
