Last week, after CNBC’s Rick Santelli canceled his guest appearance on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart memorably went off on the entire network, using their own words to prove that they’re ethically bankrupt kiss-asses who are basically always wrong. After that got huge on the internet (or “Twitscape,” as Jon called it) and Jim Cramer whined to the media about his words being taken out of context, Jon clarified his position last night: the CNBC takedown was planned even before Santelli canceled, and oh, by the way, Jim Cramer is a big fat fucking liar and here are a bunch of videos that prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Ahh, why is Jim Cramer so solemn and creepy and sweaty in the Wall Street Confidential segment? Is he on ecstasy? (That would explain a lot.) I’ve never had an interest in CNBC or cable business news channels of any kind, but I’m riveted by this feud. Jim Cramer, the ball is in your crazy court.

  1. Cramer responded on Today show today i guess. Basically tries to belittle Jon because he is only a comedian. FF to 3:45.

    • I love how Cramer’s face falls while he’s watching Jon Stewart. They might as well have played a “Bwap bwap bwap” horn after the clip was done.

    • Aren’t you being cheap in your post as well?? Even Cramer admitted that he was not misquoted. Its a funny bit about a crazy guy being wrong in some of his stock predictions then his station denouncing people that cant make their house payment. You are really going to defend the sweaty caricature of a screaming wall street guy that Cramer plays the part of?

    • I don’t think it was cheap, but yeah, god damn those comedy show writers going for a laugh.

In Cramer’s defense, he did help make me a lot of money when he upgraded the Bluth Corporation from “Sell” to “Don’t Buy”.

    • I remember the first day I had cable, I was swapping through channels and saw Mad Money and instantly though “That’s the “Don’t buy” guy from Arrested Development!

  4. Even douches can guest on Arrested Development. See also: James Lipton

  5. “Ahh, why is Jim Cramer so solemn and creepy and sweaty in the Wall Street Confidential segment? ”

it seemed to me that he was trying to do his best daniel faraday impression. the stuttering, the shifty eyes, the over-pronunciation/nod combo. i’ll bet cramer is pissed that he has to explain his theories to a woman who is clearly not a quantum physicist.

  6. cramer isn’t helping himself out at all with his ridiculousness, but i think the whole making fun of stock predictions thing is kinda lame. i mean, why don’t they make fun of weathermen for getting it wrong? fish in a barrel comedy.
