If you had shown me this video two days ago, I would have laughed you out of town. “That is ridiculous,” I would have said, “I am laughing at these children pretending like this is an actual thing. Ooh la la, stack stack stack.” Not anymore. John Kilduff has opened my eyes to the world. Cup-stacking is just one of the many things that we should all try (all at once, at the same time). I’m not saying cup-stacking is right for us. Maybe we’ll hate it. We probably will. It looks infuriating. It’s like Pogs, but angrier-making. But we need to TRY. Honestly, you guys, it’s going to be impossible for us to become better human beings in a world of creative possibility beating the competition with our unstoppable natures if we keep our minds closed to new experiences.

That pervert in the red polo does need to stop referring to it as a “sport,” though. Relax, pervert. (Via VideoHomeSystems.com)

“I’m so passionate about cup-stacking…” is the saddest way to begin a sentence I’ve ever heard.

This could be a fun game while drinking, because everyone would fail sooo hard.

  4. If someone had shown you this video two years ago, you wouldn’t be two years late.

  5. Who is the woman that married this guy?!?!??!

  6. i don’t want to be the one to tell that boy in glasses that he will not become a professional basketball player.

also, while watching i was trying to figure out the name of that stupid show where kids with stupid ‘talents’ would come on and be stupid (never liked it even as a kid). well, it’s called figure it out, cupstacking was on it, and i lose.

    • 2 reasons why I love this:
      1) It perfectly dates the early-90s with the backwards Looney Toons cap & references to half forgotten Nickelodeon shows.
      2) When he gets excited he bends over like he’s getting ready to… receive… things. I bet he uses ‘Speed Stacker’ for Craigslist posts.

  7. Sure you’re a basketball player, kid. Sure.

I remember when this was big maybe 5-10 years ago. they would sell cup sets in toy stores!

Never have I seen a more bullshit conceit posing as a “skill” or “activity” to get your overextended kids into.
