The guy who sells Mickey Rourke steroids in The Wrestler has been arrested. For selling steroids. :( . From the AP:

NEW YORK — The actor who played a steroid dealer in the Oscar-nominated film “The Wrestler” was charged Thursday with being the real thing: Authorities arrested him in a large steroid bust that culminated in a violent chase.

Federal prosecutors in Manhattan also accused Scott Siegel of leading Drug Enforcement Administration agents and local police on a car chase worthy of an action flick.

HEY! That car chase wasn’t in the movie! Who does this guy think he is? Now he’s never going to win the Oscar for Best Off-Screen Performance Months After the Film Stopped Shooting and Had Been Released to Wide Acclaim and Was Not Really Even in Theaters Anymore. The Wrestler is all about the quiet drama and secret pain of a life unraveling. But this is sad. This is the loud drama and public pain of a life unraveling. Shit is getting too real.

The Wrestler didn’t have a car chase? Now I’m definitely not gonna see it.

  2. Is the “Method Actor Defense” a thing?
