Thanks to tipster Kevin for alerting me to this piece of awesomeness: Paul Rudd played an asshole FBI agent (named Ian Curtis) in a 2000 Hong Kong action flick called Gen Y Cops, and someone has gone and put his scenes together in one video on YouTube. Watch Paul Rudd try to shoot someone underwater, do crazy martial arts stunts, and say lines like “You can’t spend what you can’t keep, partner!” But the two best parts come at the end, where a laughing Paul and sidekick suddenly look at each other and yell “The Robot!” (6:23) and then there’s the worst overdubbing I’ve ever heard (7:55) when Paul’s voice is replaced by what appears to be that of a small child.

If I ever meet Paul Rudd I’m going to say “This suit cost me fifty bucks! What?” (And if anyone can figure out what he’s really saying, please share.)

  1. I always knew it was a matter of time before the Fox Football Robot got loose and wreaked horrible revenge on all humans.

  2. goo’ shot maaan

  3. The Roseanne Barr Arnold line was great. All of the Robots look like you can buy them at Radio Shack. This is the kind of cinematic gem that comes on at 3am.

  4. I can’t believe former NFL quarterback Rodney Pete was double-crossing Paul Rudd the entire time.

  9. “Laugh while you can, gentlemen…
“If we loose him and the robot, it’s down to you two guys.”
