This settles it: the best Public Service Announcements come from Oceania. First, there was that anti-baby-swinging PSA from New Zealand, and now Australia is running this anti-child-abuse PSA in which a father’s wedding toast consists of jokes about having sex with his daughter. Somebody at an Aussie ad agency finally saw The Celebration and had a eureka moment!:

The obvious thing with anti-child abuse PSAs is they really don’t need to get this creative. It’s child abuse. It’s terrible. It un-sells itself. The ads should be as simple as possible. But that said, if they stopped making weird and creepy PSAs, the internet would suck more. So keep up the weird work, Oceanian ad industry.
