How great was this season of The Sarah Silverman Program? I still don’t loooove the singing, but the rest of the show has really come into its own in the second season. In fact, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that if Curb Your Enthusiasm episodes are rated on a scale of 1-10, 10 being one of the best episodes, like “The Doll,” The Sarah Silverman Program is consistently turning in sixes or sevens. It’s that good. Season 2 ended last week, but Comedy Central is still putting up behind-the-scenes interviews with the cast, like this one about the making of the episode in which Sarah gets married to her dog, Doug. The dog is played by Sarah’s real dog “A stoned decision that we have to live with” and the cast and crew quickly learned that most shows use trained dogs for a reason:
(Via CC Insider.) If you didn’t catch, particularly, the episode in which Sarah makes up her own slang, it’s a must-see. And it guest stars Stephen Root as the inventor of the word “Booya.”

Yeah the dog’s acting was pretty ozay.
This is pretty funny. I’ve met Duck (aka Doug) before and he is a crazy high-energy dog. I would hate to act with him. . Most people don?t realize that learning to act with animals can be a very lucrative skill to have. A good acting school is worth it?s weight in gold. The key is to find one that caters to your individual needs. Not only do you need the basic tools for auditioning, scene study and the like, but you need a curriculum that works with whatever your schedule may be. Whether you work all day, go to high school or care for your kids, not everyone can study in the traditional way. Another acting program that works this way is Film Connection. http://www.film-connection.com/Acting.html The Film Connection?s acting program is affiliated with Joe Anthony studios and fetures valuable one-on-one mentoring. They are also available to anyone living in the United States and have financial aid assistance.

Do not follow that link. The program is a scam.
You’re high.
But that’s…
okay.
/misses quality satire: Mr. Show, Stangers With Candy, The State…
i don’t really get that sentence that has Curb Your Enthusiasm in it?
Recent Sarah Silverman episodes are as good as mid-level-good Curb episodes.
I can agree with that.
ruff time
You don’t like the singing in this show you say? But what about the episode where she pees in the bed and the little girl in the grocery store gets her hip to the magic of “DRY SHEETS! ICE CREAM! JELLY BEANS! THREE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS!” ? That’s still a favorite in my household.
