Recent SNL host Hugh Laurie has been famous in the UK for a long time, but I think this Polaroid commercial is much funnier if you imagine/assume that he was just some guy when it was made. I never realized this combination of skills would be necessary, but if you need someone to play a confused moron who is also irritated and also kind of an asshole, Hugh Laurie is your guy:
He definitely brings the irritated asshole part to his role on House.

Of course it doesn’t make you lose street cred. I’ve yet to see a single episode of House, partially just so I can tell all the idiots I meet who love him because of it that I loved him BEFORE it. Black Adder is some of his best work.
