Usually deleted scenes are excellent reminders that the people in charge of entertaining your face know what they are doing. They’re almost always unnecessary and kind of dull. Thank you for deleting them, whoever did that. But this deleted scene from last night’s episode of The Office is as funny as most shows in their entirety, and it adds so many new layers to last night’s plot. I still think Kevin is the worst. But he may be the worst AND the father of Jan’s baby. Also, Toby.

“I don’t know what I would do. Sue? Icide” FOR THE WIN.

Creeds comment about the birth looking like the “tide at Omaha Beach” was one of the funniest things on the show in a loooog time. The look on his face is fantastic (as well as the continuing joke about his age).

  2. Loved the Toby cameo. This show will be nothing if they completely eliminate Toby.

You gave away all the jokes in that scene in your write-up. Joykiller!

  4. i think the problem with the office as of late is the following:

the show needs to do 2 things: 1) be funny and 2) move the plot/story along. a GREAT should would be able to do both at the same time but lately they’ve divided the episodes into two different things. the parts where it’s funny and the parts where they move the plot along.

this won’t work for very long.
