He didn’t used to be your boyfriend. He used to be too good for you. But this whole Andy Samberg gently impersonating him on Saturday Night Live thing has revealed that he’s kind of an anti-semitic asshole. (Thanks for the tip, everyone.)

Ugggggh. Shut up, Mark Wahlberg.

Mark Wahlberg’s 9/11 Comments Get Him Into Hilarious Trouble on Twitter
Member? Anyway, I'm not the only person who finds Wahlberg's wildly inappropriate comments laughable. There's a whole lotta making-fun-of-Mark on Twitter right now. And it's even more hilarious than an Andy Samberg impersonation. Well, almost. Here's what ...

  1. A great moment in television history. I hope to God they do a reprise of the sketch this weekend involving Mark Wahlberg punching animals.

  2. I went from thinking he was one of the coolest guys in the biz to absolutely hating him
I think he’s just upset how SPOT-ON Andy’s impression was.

  3. Who would’ve suspected that the producer of Entourage would be a douchebag?!

Max Payne has got to be a future contender for Worst Movie of All Time. SO TERRIBLE!

  5. I hate when celebs get all big-time and lose all sense of humor. He gets pissed when you call him Marky-Mark too. What a dick-hole!

I love a man with no sense of humor. blech

seriously, guys? seriously? first off, Andy Samberg has a big nose. it’s the only feature he has that keeps him from looking totally generic. even with the shnozz, he just looks like generic guy with big nose. also, andy samberg doesn’t need us defending his honor. I’m absolutely sure he’s just as big of a douche as mark wahlberg. In the International Sport of Douching, I’m guessing they’d place number 1 and 2. I’ve never met them, I’m just guessing. Now on top of that, doesn’t this seem to be escalating rather quickly and violently? Much like the Matt Damon thing on Kimmel escalated so quickly? I foresee a Mark Wahlberg cameo very soon on SNL. Because if there’s one thing douches love more than being douch-y, it’s having their ego stroked. It’s part of their ddna (the extra d is for douche – they’re like down syndrome babies except instead of having an extra chromosome, they have an extra douche gene). I expect a very awkward sketch where andy samberg does mark wahlberg and then the real mark wahlberg steps in and everyone is all “oh no he didn’t” but he just did. and then it’ll be blogged about on monday and the world will once again be at peace. it’s the circle of douche life.

Say that again after watching all of those videos. The Lonely Island Dudes are absolutely hilarious and I doubt they’ve got a douchey bone in their body. Except Kiv, because he got rid of Chez, but we’re talking about Andy now.

:) The Lonely Island. They’ve always seemed like such cool guys. I didn’t know that about Chez, though.

        • Hilary, i don’t know for FACT that Kiv was the one who got rid of Chez
          BUT
The weeks prior to “Joni” taking over Chez-Chat, all the posts ended with “And Kiv, if you’re reading this…not cool man. Why don’t we just TALK about this” and stuff like that
AND, on the Hot Rod commentary Jorm and Andy both talk about how awesome Chez is, and Kiv repeatedly tried to change the subject
          Hence my inference.

well, you’re right that there is a high likelihood that andy samberg isn’t a douche. i just assume most people on tv are douchier than the average bear because, well, most of them are. i still predict a mark wahlberg walk-on in the near future. and i predict it will be awkward. because mark wahlberg isn’t very funny.

You’re making it very, very hard for me to love you, Marky. These are trying times.

Looks like a set up for a SNL appearance.

  11. Wikipedia:

In the dedication of his 1992 book Marky Mark, co-authored with photographer Lynn Goldsmith, Wahlberg says in the preface that “I wanna dedicate this book to my cock”.

dear mark wahlberg, you were awesome sometimes. you saved some not so good movies with your total commitment to the almost 5 or 6 acting things that you can do. it was great. but that’s all over now. all over because you had to go on jimmy kimmel and talk about punching someone. everybody knows that punching is not something you announce if you have any intention to carry it through. talking about punching someone who made very good fun of you in a comedy sketch is the worst i’m taking down my shooter poster.

  13. “Imma’ go up to that big nose mother fucker and punch him right in it (his nose), he probably wont even see it coming cause his nose is so big, hes got a big nose Jimmy. His big nose is so big that I’m going to punch him in it, then ill slap his big nose with my hand, that will make contact with his big nose, because remember its big and its a nose therefor its a big nose. Bada bing bada boom, I’m Mark Wahlberg, Max Payne”

  14. has mark wahlberg ever had a sense of humor? i’ve seen a lot of his interviews and he seems like he’s almost NEVER in on the joke… whatever it may be.

i think he’s one of those bizarre people who can’t tell when someone’s saying something in jest. he’s reeeeeaaaaalllly dumb and can’t understand humor, from what i can tell.

just look up his interviews on youtube….. it’s crazy.

you can take the boy outta baaaaahstan. but you can’t take the baaaaahstan outta the boy.

  15. it’s so weird that he’s upset, too, because it’s a really, REALLY low-keyed impression. it’s not like samberg is doing something unflattering or making marky mark seem like a bad person or something.
it’s just him, talking exactly like marky mark to farm animals, which makes no sense but also isn’t, like, casting aspersions or anything.
p.s. it’s an entire show, filled with writers and producers, who all okayed the skit. is he going to punch them all in their frizzy hair, or something else equally, vaguely anti-semitic?

  16. Liam  |   Posted on Oct 17th, 2008

He is SO not the fucking King of Dirk. Also I think this whole feud is just a publicity ploy. Except for the anti-Semitism. I can see that being real.

  17. it is funny how he gets so PEED off at such a low-key impression, but it does dumb him down to a very one-dimesional character (which seems to be acurate). mark wahlberg is upset b/c, as this skit depicts, his only trick is acting like a regular guy off the old block. kinda like this guy; http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/516bf11840

  18. alvy  |   Posted on Oct 18th, 2008

i’m pretty positive this is a set-up and he’s kidding.

  19. Anti-semitic? what? I mean, while Jewish, I don’t have a great radar for these things, but really, is there an anti-jewish sentiment expressed there?

I, personally, thought he was basically playing celebrity dozens – but what the hell do i know.

Maybe Marky Mark Wahlberg can poke Samberg’s eye out with a stick too. He’s a self-obsessed, egotistical, know-nothing with some acting talent.
