Frontrunners, a new documentary that opens in NY and LA on October 15, follows a group of students running for student council at Stuyvesant, New York City’s best public school. From the trailer, it looks like a cross between Spellbound, Freaks And Geeks, and, of course, the greatest movie ever made about high school politics, Alexander Payne’s Election:
