If you were to judge by the banner ads on most websites, including this one, you might easily think that Choke was a bigger deal than The Dark Knight. That banner ad is all over the place! Well, maybe it is a bigger deal. We have absolutely no way of knowing whether Choke is as big or bigger of a deal than The Dark Knight. Perhaps someday someone will invent some kind of system to track how big of a deal things are. Dare to dream.

Anyway, Choke, based on the book by Chuck Palahniuk and starring Sam Rockwell as a sex addicted con man who works at a colonial theme park, is coming to theaters this Friday. And by posting this red band trailer, which you probably saw months ago, rent is coming to our landlords this afternoon (sorry about being so late with the rent, landlords).

NSFW, BTW.

Choke is rated R.

  1. Nothing involving Chuck Palahniuk is a big deal, unless the big deal is about how he’s the worst.

  2. i watched the web series YOUNG AMERICAN BODIES recently and ……. this trailer came on before every episode.

I’ve seen this trailer probably 30 times in the past week…. i never want to see it again.

  3. I love Palahniuk’s earlier stuff. Just hoping this lasts three weeks in my local art-house, because I’m putting in my two weeks at work on Friday and won’t have time to catch it until Colombus Day Weekend.
