We’ve all been there: sitting around the TV, frosting cupcakes with our best friend, watching our domestic goddess mom on her successful TV show and complaining loudly and unfunnily about our childhood. That’s why Whatever, Martha!, a new show premiering on the Fine Living Channel tonight is a show we can all relate to. The press release calls the show “fun” and a “roast” and makes it clear that “Martha is in on the joke.” But there don’t appear to be any jokes. From this “best of” clip, Whatever, Martha! seems to be artfully experimenting with our notions of what constitutes any entertainment of any kind.
