Al Franken is running against Norm Coleman in Minnesota’s Senate race this year. Good for him. He seems like a smart enough guy with some good ideas in his head. But it’s really hard to watch his campaign ads without thinking it’s some kind of parody.

“Did you guys see Saturday Night Live this weekend? It was weird how it was only 30 seconds long and it aired Sunday afternoon. Also it was kind of sad. I’m an idiot.”

More Al Franken ads after the jump.
